A popular calligraphy exhibition at Nantwich Museum comes to an end this weekend.

The display, by Frances Passmore, is on show in the Community Gallery at the Pillory Street venue until this Saturday October 22.

It is a celebration of the skill of handwriting, illustrating the variety of styles and techniques involved in modern calligraphy.

Frances Passmore has a degree in English and an interest in art and found the combination of words and art offered by calligraphy irresistible.

“When I discovered the world of calligraphy it felt that I had found my natural home,” she said.

Her work has been exhibited in London, Lancaster and Kent.
