A charity Christmas tree shredding in Nantwich has helped to raise almost £70 for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

The event took place at St Anne’s Roman Catholic Church car park, on Wellington Road, Nantwich, on Saturday January 7.

It was manned by volunteers Chris Barratt and Gerry Smith, along with David Hindley from Border Tree Care.

In total, it raised £68.70 for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Shredding equipment was loaned courtesy of Border Tree Care, in Weston, near Crewe.
