A charity football game in Nantwich involving TV stars will help raise money for the Wingate Centre in Wrenbury later this month.

The All Star charity XI v The Soap Stars match will be played at Nantwich Town’s Weaver Stadium on April 29.

Among those playing in include actors from Emmerdale, Waterloo Road, Hollyoaks, Coronation Street, Doctors, Shameless and Eastenders.

Names to look out for include Emmerdale’s Dan Jillings, Elliott Tittensor, Danny Miller, James Thornton and Adam Thomas, Waterloo Road’s Tom Milner and Chris Simmons, Hollyoaks Danny Tennant, Will Rush and Jay Khan.

There will also be stars from Reality TV shows such as Big Brother, Shipwrecked, and Dancing on Ice, including Ray Francis, Anthony Hutton, Marvyn Williams and Danny Young, also of Coronation Street.

Organiser Barry Donegan, of the Wingate children’s centre, said: “It should be a special day and hopefully we can get a sell out.”

Kick off is 2pm and admission is just £2 per person.
