The Hull Truck production of DNA comes to Crewe Lyceum later this month, starring Eastenders actor James Alexandrou.

The compelling thriller by award-winning writer Dennis Kelly, has been directed and designed by Anthony Banks, of the National Theatre.

The story is of a group of teenagers who do something bad – really bad – then panic and cover the whole thing up.

But then they find the cover-up unites them and brings harmony to their fractious lives, so there is little incentive to put things right.

The show was first performed at the National Theatre in 2007, and is fast becoming a contemporary classic with young audiences.

It is also now a core text on the GCSE English syllabus, studied by 400,000 students across the UK.

The show will be in South Cheshire from May 21 to 23, starting at 7pm each night.

There will also be a matinee show at 1.30pm on the 23rd.
