Comedian Philberto to star at Nantwich Civic Hall

Tickets are still available for the latest “Very Best in Stand Up” show at Nantwich Civic Hall next week.

A top bill of acts, including Danny McLoughlin, Steve Royle, Michael Fabbri and Philberto (pictured), is lined up for the show on October 5 show

Rising star McLoughlin, a firm fan favourite and local lad hailing from Chester, will compere the evening.

His swift rise on the comedy scene has seen him gather five-star reviews for his first full length show at this years Edinburgh festival.

Steve Royle, making his Nantwich debut, has been on tour with Dave Spikey and comedy fans may recognise him from his role in “Max & Paddy’s Road to Nowhere”.

Steve is a regular headline act at “The Comedy Store” and appears at major clubs nationwide.

Fabbri is the middle turn. He stamped his mark on the UK circuit appearing in the 2003 final of Channel 4’s So You Think You’re Funny?

He rapidly earned a reputation as one of the most promising up and coming comedians on the circuit. A reputation that he is living up to, regularly performing for the best clubs in the country.

Closing act Philberto has been enjoying the English comedy circuit for the past two years, establishing himself as a headline act.

He is the mad comic genius from English comedian Milo McCabe, pretending to be Philberto, Portugal’s top reality TV star.

Philberto has a vibrant energy and exciting style that makes his set disappear in the blink of an eye.
