The new St Luke’s (Cheshire) Hospice shop in Nantwich is to offer the venue for children’s parties.

Swirly Whirlys creperie, ice cream parlour and sweet shop, opened its doors on Pillory Street in November.

Now staff are keen to branch out and offer is offering to host fun-filled celebrations in its purpose-built party room.

All proceeds from parties which will cater for up to 12 children will go to the local hospice.

Youngsters will be able to paint a pot or create their own piece of craft, eat a crepe with a topping of their choice and a milkshake or drink, the birthday boy or girl takes home a plate signed by their friends, and take home a bag of vintage style sweets.

Steven Holmes, St Luke’s retail and operations manager, said: “Swirly Whirlys is a feast for the eyes and the senses which makes it the perfect place to capture your child’s imagination on their special day.

“It’s a wonderfully playful shop and what’s more there is a mouth-watering array of freshly cooked crepes to treat yourself and the kids to.

“I’m delighted to say Swirly Whirlys is now hosting children’s parties and we would be delighted to see Mid and South Cheshire families supporting our cause by having a wonderful time!”

Party prices start at £14 for a two-hour booking.

The venue is also planning to open Butterfly Garden at the rear of the shop during the spring.
