A Nantwich-based financial firm is celebrating its diamond anniversary.
Staff at Howard Worth are planning a series of celebrations to mark 60 years since it was founded in 1953.
The late Howard Worth opened his first office in Witton Street, Northwich, under the name J Howard Worth & Co.
He was to remain part of the firm until his retirement in 1985.
Today, the accountancy and finance company has bases on Churchyardside in Nantwich and Gadbrook Park, Northwich.
A celebration dinner took place recently with guests including all Howard Worth staff and clients.
Managing partner Richard Barnett said: “Since Howard opened that first office, we have grown to a practice of eight partners and more than 80 accountancy, business advisory and tax specialists, plus Independent Financial Adviser colleagues.
“Our growth reflects our success in giving our clients the advice and support they need, when they need it, to help them prosper.
“We are very proud to be celebrating our diamond jubilee and although we have come a long way in 60 years, excellent service and helping our clients to achieve their goals is as much a part the way we do business today as it was in 1953.”
