A retailer with a supermarket in Nantwich has launched a drive to recruit more apprentices throughout Cheshire.
Aldi is working with Cheshire Oaks Retail Academy (CORA) to promote their Aldi Apprentice Scheme.
And applications for the scheme are now open as the retailer looks to hire up to 30 apprentices in Cheshire, including some for their store on Station Road, Nantwich.
CORA, set up by West Cheshire College and The McArthurGlen Group, is to help with the application process and identify suitable candidates.
Steve Bridge, from CORA, said: “We worked in partnership with Aldi last year to successfully recruit apprentices for their stores in the North West and we have been invited to work with them again.
“CORA has a strong record in providing apprenticeship in retail and we have worked with some of the biggest brands in the industry.
“Aldi provides an excellent apprenticeship scheme with a lot of opportunities and benefits for individuals so we expect it to be very popular.”

The company launched its National Apprentice Scheme in February 2012, and has since created more than 200 jobs.
The aim is to train all apprentices in retail management within three years.
