Bakery and patisserie students from Reaseheath College in Nantwich tasted success after making Pudsey bear biscuits in aid of Children in Need.

The biscuits and other products, ranging from bread and cakes to wrapped chocolates, saw record sales at the Nantwich campus shop.

A percentage of the takings was donated to the charity.

Food shop supervisor Elliott Bateman said: “The Pudsey bear biscuits were really popular and we quickly sold out.

“We’re looking forward to hearing how much we raised for Children in Need.”

They were among hundreds of pupils, students, teachers and workers across Nantwich who took part in Children in Need fund-raising events.
