GARY DELANEY, Very Best in Stand Up

‘The Very Best in Stand Up’ returns to Nantwich Civic Hall with four more top acts from the international comedy circuit.

Compere and host will be Phil Walker, who is making his debut in Nantwich.

Phil has been on the UK comedy circuit for over 10 years and plays all over the world.

He followed in the footsteps of Caroline Aherne, Peter Kay and Jason Manford by winning the City Life Comedian Of The Year Award and has gone on to establish a strong reputation as a top headline act.

Returning to the club after a great set two years ago is Steve Shanyaski.

Steve has established himself throughout the UK as a top choice for all major comedy venues.

His whirlwind performances and thrilling routines have constantly proven a hit with even the quietest crowds, the key to his act being his energy and silliness.

With TV appearances on Jason Manford’s Comedy Rocks and The Comedy Store on Comedy Central, Steve adds another top name to our last show of 2014.

Another act making their Nantwich debut is Damian Clark.

Aussie boy Clark burst onto the UK comedy circuit in 2012 where his high-octane observational stand up has certainly caused some waves.

Clark’s infectious energy and childlike outlook has had audiences in hysterics and was snapped up to appear on BBC3 and Comedy Central when he first hit these shores.

Final act of 2014 is Gary Delaney (pictured), who has proven himself to be among the UK’s elite comedians and among the very finest one line merchants too.

By the time he takes to the stage, he will have just completed his UK theatre tour and made another appearance on BBC’s Mock The Week.

One of the highest gag rates on the comedy circuit, Delaney doesn’t do stories, whimsy or conversations with the audience.

Instead expect so many jokes you’ll be trying not laugh for fear of missing the next one and still not able to remember more than a couple the day after.

The show takes place this Friday December 5 and tickets are £10.

Tickets can be bought from the link below (including Online Group Saver) or direct from Nantwich Civic Hall Tourist Information Centre – in person or by calling them on 01270 628633.

The show starts at 8.15pm and doors open at 7.15pm.
