FC Semtex closed the gap on leaders Railway Hotel in the Crewe Regional Sunday Premier Division.

Semtex beat Talbot 3-2 with goals from Malcolm Bostock, Danny May and Paul Edwards, as Railway had a weekend with no game.

Mickey Truan and Ant Broadhurst replied for Talbot.

Willaston White Star won a close game with Ocean with a solitary strike from Asher Moat.

AFC Barkode turned the form book upside down with a 4-1 win over Sydney Arms with goals from a Taylor hat-trick and Bennett, Bowyer replying for Sydney.

In Division One the top two in the league clashed with Leighton winning 6-2 at Wistaston Ath.

A hat-trick from Danny Rogerson and further goals from Jack Buchanan (2) and Tom Edwards did the trick. James Burden and Rhys Potter scored for Wistaston.

Rising Sun and Bank Corner kept up the pressure on the leaders with a 7-3 and 6-0 wins respectively.

Rising Sun had to thank Gary Pownall who netted four times in the 7-3 win at Audlem, with Steve Pattinson, Damien Sloan and Jake Standen also scoring.

Audlem scorers were Jordan Green, Graham Brown and Dave Bebbington.

Bank Corner hit Haslington for six with Matt Ravenscroft getting a hat-trick, other goals coming from Andy Garrett (2) and Lucas Patterson.

Crewe FC won a close game with Nantwich YF 2-1, with goals from Louis Everall and an own goal, Richard Ford scored for Nantwich YF.

Sandbach Town came back from 2-0 down to claim a draw 2-2 against Faddiley.
