A Nantwich entrepreneur has made it through to the Forward Ladies Women in Business Awards 2015.
Joanne Grubb, owner of JG Creative, is one of 31 women across the North West and Isle of Man to be shortlisted.
There are 12 categories who will now be considered in the final by an independent panel of judges.
Joanne, who runs her graphic design and strategic marketing agency from Beam Heath Way, is shortlisted in the Start-up Business Woman of the Year 2015 category.
She said: “I am thrilled to be shortlisted for this award.
“And I am very excited about meeting the other nominees on March 27.
“I have been a proud Forward Lady since starting JG Creative and a lot of my business has come from successful networking.”
Forward Ladies managing director Griselda Togobo said: “I was very impressed by the standard of entries and the breadth and scale of the work that the businesswomen in our region are undertaking.
“These are extremely talented and capable women – pioneers and innovators in their chosen professions.
“Their hard work must be recognised so they can become credible and inspirational role models for future generations.”
The winners will be decided at an awards ceremony at The Midland hotel in Manchester on Friday March 27.
JG Creative works for a range of clients, including two local NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups, various charities including Henshaws, Mencap and Kings College London and the REC (Recruitment and Employment Confederation).
