Thea Gilmore, Nantwich Jazz Festival

Five of the Nantwich Jazz, Blues and Music Festival’s seven headlining acts will be hitting the stage of Nantwich Civic Hall.

Nantwich town centre will welcome tens of thousands of visitors during the five-day festival over Easter weekend, April 2-6.

And organisers believe this year, the 19th festival, sees the bill’s strongest line-up to date.

Among the big names at the Civic Hall is Thea Gilmore & Her Band.

Local girl Thea makes a welcome return following her sell-out success in 2014, opening the show on Thursday April 2.

Singer Andy Featherweather-Low & The Low Riders perform on Friday April 3, and rocking the stage on Saturday April 4 are FM.

Then on Easter Sunday April 5, there will be a double bill from King Pleasure & The Biscuit Boys.

And The Stumble and The Blues Band close the weekend on Easter Monday April 6.

Also included in the festival’s headliners are Connie Lush at The Crown Hotel on Good Friday, and Claire Martin & The Montpellier Cello Quartet appearing at St Mary’s Church on Easter Monday.

Organisers have been working throughout the year with 15 of the town’s local pubs, bars and clubs also participating in the festival

Many shows are expected to sell out so music fans are urged to book early.

Wristbands for the festival are now on sale and available to buy online or direct from the Civic Hall.

Tickets for the headline shows are on sale at www.nantwichjazz.com, from the Crown Hotel and Civic Hall in person or on 01270 625283.

  1. I have a ticket to see Thea Gilmore this Saturday 17th October at Malbank theatre which I am very excited about, however the friend that was due to come with me has left it too late to get a ticket and now it’s sold out. Does anyone out there have a last minute spare ticket that I could buy off them please? we’d be so grateful.
