Bobby Mair on June 2015 comedy stand up at Nantwich Civic Hall

The final “Very Best In Stand Up” live comedy show will take place in Nantwich on June 5.

And promoters have again lined up four top class comedians to help the season go out in style.

TV panel show host and Canadian comic Bobby Mair brings his unique brand to Nantwich Civic Hall for the first time.

His stage presence and delivery makes him a compelling act.

Mair has received great acclaim for his Comedy Central show “The Bobby Mair Show”.

And he might just make good on Jimmy Carr’s comment when he said of him “The man will either be one of the biggest international comedy stars or the funniest homeless man ever”.

John Gordillo is also in on the act for next Friday’s show, and also makes his Nantwich debut.

He is a staple of the UK comedy circuit having worked and written for huge names including Eddie Izzard.

John was the long time host of BBC show “The RDA with John Gordillo” which aired 60 episodes on the BBC.

And Elis James returns to the Civic after an outstanding set three years ago.

Elis is a regular on Channel 4’s “Stand Up For The Week” and also took the main role in the BBC Three comedy “Crims”.

The show will be held together by the talents of a superb compere in Toby Hadoke.

His “Moths Ate My Doctor Who Scarf” show was a huge success with sell out tours in the UK as well as at Doctor Who conventions worldwide and the turned into a BBC Show.

The show takes place on Friday June 5, and tickets are on sale at £10.

It promises to be a sell out night, so don’t hang around booking tickets.

For details visit www.civiccomedy.co.uk or get tickets direct from Nantwich Civic Hall Tourist Information Centre in person or on 01270 628633. Reservations are available to groups of six or more.
