appeal - man with serious injuries - police tape by jayneandd

Criminals are targeting South Cheshire pubs after a spate of burglaries, including one in Tarporley.

A licensed premises on Tarporley Road was broken into in the early hours of Sunday September 6.

It was one of four pubs all targeted by crooks on the same morning. The other pubs were in Rudheath and Hartford, both Northwich, and Holmes Chapel.

Investigating officers believe these could be linked and are asking any potential witnesses to contact the police.

Detective Constable John Brundrett, leading the investigation, said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen any cars or people in the area of the pubs, or to any regular patrons who may have noticed anyone behaving suspiciously in the area.

“I urge other licensed premises in the area to remain vigilant and report anything suspicious to the police on 101.”

Alternatively, information can be reported anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
