Two Division One sides upset Premier Division opposition in the first round of the Crewe Sunday League Presidents Cup.

Brunel Arms beat Salvador 3-1 after extra time following a late equaliser for Salvador.

Jay Thomas, with two, and Nathan Jones scored for Brunel with Dave Ratcliffe scoring for Salvador.

And Faddiley beat AFC Barkode 4-2 with two goals from Ash Lawton and goals from Joey Hilton and Ryan Barnett. Rob Taylor and Steve Martin replied for AFC Barkode.

Premier Division leaders Railway Hotel enjoyed a 10-0 win over Boot & Shoe Villa with goals from Finch (3), Gibbs (2), Cope (2), Ruane, Brookes and Scarlett.

Willaston White Star had a comfortable 5-0 win over Division One Market Tavern, Asher Moat netting a hat-trick with Sidney Otoo and Kyle Gregory completing the scoring.

Leighton won 3-0 at Haslington with goals from Chris Tomkinson, Danny Rogerson and Paul Crimes.

Talbot found some form with a 5-2 win at Nantwich YF with Ben Parker scoring twice and further strikes from Mike Truan, Matt Verling and Sean Chandler.

Rising Sun overcame a tricky tie at improving Sandbach Town with a 5-3 win.

Gary Pownall and Owen Porter both scoring two goals, with Andy Tebay also on the score sheet.

Tim Lamb, Gary Cardon and an own goal scored for Sandbach.

In the all Premier Division tie, NHB beat Square One 3-2 in a tight game, scorers for NHB were Dan and Jamie Ball, Frank Farrington. Scorers for Square One were Lines and Hawkins.

Wistaston Ath (Steve Pattinson 2, Lee Jones, Ryan Broadhurst) beat Bank Corner 4-0, while AFC Leopard won 4-2 at Crewe FC.

In the Staffs Sunday Cup, goals from Murisa and Lightfoot saw Betley through to the next round.

And in the only league game to be played, Ocean FC move up to third in Division One with a 6-1 win over AFC Alsager.
