Betley caused an upset by beating Premier Division Rising Sun 8-6 after extra time in the first round of the Crewe FA Sunday Cup.

Division One Betley had equalised with the last kick of the 90 minutes to take it to extra time.

The other Premier Division sides had comfortable wins.

Sydney Arms led the scoring with an 11-0 win over Division One Audlem.

Sean Owen bagged a hat-trick while Ant Broadhurst, Rory Saunders and Vinny Pownall all scored twice.

Garry Gordon and a 35-yard volley from Tommy Uda were the other scorers.

Crewe Ath scored 10 as they beat Nantwich YF 10-3.

PJ Hudson scored four along with a hat-trick from Josh Clarke, other scorers were Ash Dobson, Dan Forrester and Dale Broadfield.

Ed Cliffe, Will Ellwood and Simon Rogers scored for NYF.

AFC Leopard won 6-0 at Crewe FC.

Salvador had a closer encounter with Division One side Sandbach Town, winning 2-1.

Keiron Banks and Jon Dawson scored for Salvador with Chris Shaw pulling a goal back for Sandbach.

In the all Division One games, Wistaston Ath found their scoring boots with a 9-1 win at Bank Corner with hat-tricks from Steve Pattinson and Ryan Broadhurst and further goals from Graham Wrench (2) and Declan Scott.

Will Cork scored for Bank Corner.

Haslington continued their good form with a 4-2 win at AFC Alsager with two goals from Dylan Poole and a strike from Chris Wulstencroft, adding to an own goal.

Tom Taaffe scored both goals for AFC Alsager.

Boot & Shoe Villa won 5-2 at Market Tavern.

NHB came back from 2-0 down at half-time to draw level at 2-2, sending the game into extra time where two further goals completed the comeback.

Henry Buckley (2), Jamie Ball and Dan Ball scored for NHB with Ken Mather and Ryan Simon scoring for Sandbach Utd U21s.

Leighton FC (Rafael Semdo, Steven Wright) beat Cricketers Arms (Jamie Knowlson) 2-1.

AFC Barkode beat Crewe FC U21s 5-1.

In the only league game played, Willaston WS started well against Square One having an early goal disallowed before Square One got going and scored three times in the first half through Dodd, Lines and Hawkins to ease to a 3-0 win.
