Talbot were beaten 5-1 by Square One in the last remaining first round tie of the Crewe FA Sunday Cup.

Square One led 3-0 at half-time, Talbot scored with 15 minutes to go and pushed on trying for further goals.

But they were caught on the break twice as Hawkins scored four goals for Square One with Nolan also scoring. Matt Truan netted for Talbot.

In the Premier Division, leaders Railway Hotel extended the gap at the top of the table by winning 5-1 at rivals Willaston White Star.

Daryl Scarlett scored twice with further goals from Greg Moore, Wayne Beggs and Danny Lavalette.

Luke Goddard scored a consolation for Willaston.

Crewe Ath moved up to second place with a 5-0 win at Rising Sun, all the goals coming in the first half.

Dom Capro scored twice, with further goals from PJ Hudson, Josh Clarke and Simon Krause.

NHB and AFC Barkode shared eight goals in an end to end game which finished 4-4.

NHB scorers were Dan Ball (2), Henry Buckley and Colin Watson.

Vinny Shemwatt, Lewis Clama, Danny Roberts and goalkeeper Andy Richmond scored for AFC Barkode.

Sydney Arms continued their good form with a close 4-3 win at Salvador.

Derice Richards, Sean Saunders, Sean Owen and Dean Heath scored for Sydney, with Kev Sharp (2) and Dave Ratcliffe replying for Salvador.

In Division One, leaders Wistaston Ath maintained their 100% record with a 5-1 win at Haslington in a tight game until the final 20 minutes when Wistaston scored four times.

Wistaston scorers were Steve Pattinson (2), Ryan Broadhurst (2) and Lee Jones. Vinny Mackwell scoring for Haslingon.

Faddiley hit the goal trail with a thumping 15-0 win at bottom Club Market Tavern, six goals coming in an 11-minute spell in the second half.

Joey Hylton scored five times with a hat-trick from Ash Lawton.

Andy Blud and Sean Chandler bagged a brace each, and Henry Wharton, Neil Bate and Will Emerton all made the scoresheet.

Sandbach Town (Ingham, Lamb, Lindo) won 3-2 at AFC Alsager (Hart 2).

Ocean FC remain in second place with a 5-1 win over Audlem thanks to a hat-trick from Bako and further goals from Hardman and Parker.

Betley are beginning to find their feet in the league with a 3-1 win over Bank Corner.

Halligan, Fisher and Ashworth scored for Betley with Cork replying for Bank Corner.

Boot & Shoe Villa (Beresford, OG,) drew 2-2 with Nantwich YF (Standeven, Vernon).
