Alzheimer’s Society Cheshire East is running a course to support the carers of people affected by dementia.

Our Carers Information and Support Programme (CrISP) is being held at St Peter’s Church Hall in Elworth near Sandbach during November and December.

The CrISP is a practical course, led by trained Alzheimer’s Society staff, which provides carers with practical knowledge about dementia as well as helping them devise coping strategies.

There are two courses, both run over four weeks: CrISP 1 for those carers whose loved one has received a recent diagnosis; and CrISP 2 for those caring for someone whose dementia is more progressed.

The Elworth course is one of several running at various venues in Cheshire East.
