A Nantwich business woman has been shortlisted for the prestigious Learning Awards.

Kate Carney’s STITCH Learning has been nominated in the Start Up of the Year category.

The national awards recognise outstanding examples of best practice, innovation and excellence in Learning and Development.

Kate is a former Malbank Sixth Form student who set up STITCH Learning only 12 months
ago.

She said: “This is a huge deal for us, we’re thrilled to be shortlisted for this award.

“We’ve gone through such fantastic growth and development over the past 12 months.

“Simply being shortlisted is a real recognition of our hard work and innovation – especially on the same day that our new website went live!

“We’ve got a presentation to do to the judging panel on November 13.

“So we’re got lots to do to get ready for then an make a real impact.”

The Learning Awards winners will be announced in February 2016 at the Dorchester Hotel, London.

They will be presented by TV personality Claudia Winkleman.

STITCH Learning is a marketing, research and innovation agency which works with apprenticeship providers, colleges and businesses.
