Top two Square One and Railway Hotel have opened up a gap in the chase for the Crewe Regional Sunday Premier League title.

They took advantage of a slip up by third placed Crewe Athletic to open up a five-point lead.

Square One thumped Talbot 7-0, thanks to five goals by Mike Blundell, Tinsley and Ledwards adding the others.

Railway Hotel, helped by two goals from Lee Mellor, beat Rising Sun 5-0.

Their other goals came from JJ Rowley, Josh Ruane and Matt Cope.

Crewe Ath were held 1-1 by NHB with Nathan Tickle scoring for Crewe Ath and Peter Caine scoring for NHB.

Willaston WS beat Sydney Arms 4-3 with two goals from Niko Kolodzyk and further goals from Henry Blundell and Asher Moat.

Scorers for Sydney were Rory Saunders, Paul Bowyer and Paul Bowker.

Salvador and AFC Leopard played out a very even game which was decided by an excellent chip from Tom Kelsall to give AFC Leopard a 1-0 win.

In Division One, Brunel Arms took advantage of the postponement of the game involving the leaders Wistaston Ath with a 1-0 win at Haslington, Kane Fletcher scoring the only goal in the second half.

Faddiley won a tight game at Sandbach Town with an 89th minute penalty converted by Will Emerton.

There were goals on the menu as Betley FC beat Audlem 6-4. Betley scorers were Jamie Baker (2) Mike Nurissa, Spencer Lightfoot, Tom Halligan and Scott Fisher.

Audlem hit the net thanks to a brace from Andy Betteley and goals from Connor Jones and Kevin Mort.
