missing Roy Tomlinson, from Nantwich

Police are appealing for help to find an elderly Nantwich man suffering dementia who has gone missing.

Roy Tomlinson, 82, was reported missing shortly before 5pm today (January 26) from the Shrewbridge Road area of Nantwich.

Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for Roy, who has dementia and can become confused.

Enquiries are ongoing in the local area and anyone with any information is urged to get in touch.

Roy is described as 5ft 10in tall with grey, receding hair.

He was last seen wearing a grey jumper, jeans and black or brown shoes.

He is not believed to have been wearing a coat.

Inspector Andy Smith said: “Extensive enquiries are currently being carried out to trace Roy, who has links to the Crewe area.

“We would urge anyone who may have seen him or anyone matching his description to get in touch as we are concerned for his welfare – especially if the weather deteriorates overnight.”
