A Nantwich Town official is trying to track down more of the club’s FA Vase heroes from 10 years ago – for a new book.

Club press officer Richard Scott is keen to speak to all of those involved in the historic victory of 2006.

The book, ‘When Nantwich turned the Vase green’, is being written to celebrate the success of a decade ago when the Dabbers lifted the Vase at Birmingham.

Current Nantwich Town manager Phil Parkinson was skipper of the side the day they won the trophy, beating Hillingdon Borough 3-1 at St Andrew’s.

Richard said: “The book is close to completion but we are currently looking for stories and memories from the players of the run as well as supporters who witnessed the success.”

If you wish to have memories included in the book, you can contact Richard on [email protected]

Stories need to be with the Richard by February 10.

The book is set to be published and made available from May 6.
