Nantwich Town 1 Stourbridge 0 16.02.16 29

Nantwich Town host Dover Athletic in the FA Trophy Quarter Finals today in one of the club’s biggest ever games.

And victory for the Dabbers will mean just one two-legged tie away from a Wembley final.

But they face a mammoth task at the Weaver Stadium, with Dover chasing promotion in the National League – two divisions above Nantwich.

However, Phil Parkinson’s men will be relishing the game after already beating two Conference North sides in the competition this season, in Stockport and Bradford Park Avenue.

Coach Chris Parkes said: “It’s a massive game. We went away on Thursday night and have prepared well.

“The bonus of Tuesday night’s game is that we haven’t got any injuries so we have a fully fit squad for the gaffer to pick from.

“So we are really looking forward to the match. Hopefully, the town as a whole will come down and get behind the boys.”

The Dabbers are hoping to for a full ground to cheer them on.

Parkes added: “The more we get down to the Weaver Stadium the better.

“The fans can certainly have a massive influence in getting behind the lads to help find that extra gear and push on.

“So I think if the place is bouncing then the boys will be up for it and put on a good show and do their upmost to get their place in the semi-final, which will be fantastic not only for the club but for the town of Nantwich as a whole.”

Kick off at the Weaver Stadium is 3pm. Admission £10 adults, £7 Concessions and £3 for under 16s.

Supporters are asked to arrive early to avoid congestion at turnstiles.

Car parking is on a first come, first serve basis at the car park at the ground.

Fans are asked to be respectful to residents who live near the ground when parking.
