Nantwich Camera Club members

Nantwich Camera Club is to host a natural history lecture on Tuesday March 22.

Special guest at the event, from 7.30pm at Regents Park on London Road, is Oliver Smart.

Oliver, from Weston-super-Mare, will seek to entertain and educate with his presentation entitled “Raw Nature – Images Uncovered”.

The talk is aimed at photographic clubs where eager photographers want to learn in more detail how images are taken, the equipment and techniques used, tricks of the trade and any post-processing tips.

Oliver studied at the University of Birmingham.

Widely travelled in search of images, his passion for nature and interest in photography captures the diversity of wildlife from behind the camera.

As well as scores of magazine covers, his images have been published in the national press, nature magazines, books and wildlife guides.

Members of the public and other local societies with photographic interests are welcome to attend. An entrance fee of £5 is payable at the door.

Anyone wishing to attend can pre-advise by email on [email protected], or find out more at www.nantwichcameraclub.org.uk
