Community champion Rachel Lewis delivering fish for rescued otters at Stapeley Grange wild animal rescue centre

Nantwich schools, clubs and groups are being encouraged to tap into a supermarket’s community champion.

Rachel Lewis, based at Morrisons, has been helping scores of organisations through the company’s community scheme.

She has provided everything from fresh fish for rescued otters at Stapeley Grange wildlife centre to first aid kits to local brownie groups.

Rachel said: “It’s a busy time of year for our town.

“I want to put a shout out to all our local groups and schools.

“Whether they need ingredients for the cubs to help them gain a new badge, or if someone is holding a charity coffee morning and needs some supplies donating.

“Any schools running competitions needing prizes or local fetes in need of a raffle prize.”

Rachel has also provided food for a cub camp, barbecues for Audlem Carnival and Acton Primary, plus many others.

“I’m currently putting together an order of of bottles of water to donate to SkoolzFest,” she added.

“Our wonderful local event which takes place every year, is getting bigger and better!”
