A close-up, intimate performance for a small audience, and possibly the first of its kind, Vincent Gambini’s This is not a magic show is part performance-lecture, part deconstructed showbiz, and part really clever magic tricks.

Opening the season at the Manchester Metropolitan University Cheshire Campus venue, this promises to be an entertaining and captivating piece of theatre. It’s a simple idea. Magician Vincent Gambini tells stories about close-up magic. He performs tricks. He leaves you wondering how he did it! With an easy manner and a relaxed style, the hour-long performance will fly by.

There are two performances on 4 October at 7pm and 8.30pm. Additional performances are on 15 October at Winsford Library and 16 October at Great Budworth Village Hall, as part of a tour organised in collaboration with CUTTING HEDGE, part of Cheshire Rural Touring Arts.
