Cheshire East Council had rejected plans by Gladman Developments for the green land off Church Lane.

Police chiefs claim South Cheshire’s streets are now a safer place after a crime gang involved in supplying Class A drugs was jailed for nearly 35 years.

Nine men and one woman were all arrested following a series of dawn raids across South Cheshire, Manchester and Staffordshire in 2014.
