Police name Crewe murder victim as Stephen O’Brien, 51

Police have named the man allegedly murdered in a Crewe alleyway as Stephen John O’Brien.

Mr O’Brien, 51, from Crewe, was found with a stab wound in the chest in an alleyway off Edleston Road.

Nantwich three-day event jockey Paul Sims is riding high in the standings at the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials after the first day’s dressage competition.
