AFC Leopard closed the gap at the top of the Crewe Regional Sunday Premier League to three points as they beat Rising Sun 2-0.

Leopard sealed victory with goals from Tom Walton and Liam Challinor.

Two of the chasing pack clashed at the Cumberland Arena as Sydney Arms beat Crewe Ath 2-1 with goals from Rob Timmis and Caine Mellor, Josh Rowley scored for Crewe Ath.

Square One won 6-1 at Salvador with a hat-trick from Mike Chesters, Barry Rock, Chris Lines and Danny Dodd also netting.

Mickey Weilding scored for Salvador.

Bottom club Willaston WS lost narrowly again going down 3-2 to NHB FC.

Steve Hamill continued his good scoring form with both goals for Willaston WS. Dan Ball scored twice for NHB FC with Henry Buckley also scoring.

In Division One there are only two points separating the top six teams.

Leaders Faddiley led 3-1 but eventually lost 5-3 to title rivals Bank Corner.

Mark Goodwin, Jordan Southwell, Andy Garrett, Scott Linbrick and an own goal for Bank Corner.

Rich Ford’s brace and one from Ash Lawton were the scorers for Faddiley.

Elworth Park moved to the top with a 5-2 win over White Horse with goals from Jimmy Ingman (2), Rich Merrill, Matt Gibson and an own goal.

Gary Beardsmith and Kev Beresford replied for White Horse.

Nantwich YF moved up to second with a close 4-3 win at Sandbach Town with goals from Andy Ward 2 and Mark Mottershead 2.

Jay Street scored a hat-trick for Sandbach Town.

Betley FC had a convincing 7-0 win over Cricketers Arms with Ally Chapman scoring four.

Mark Parker (2) and Chris Worrall completed the scoring.

Talbot returned to winning ways as six different players scored against Market Tavern in a 6-1 win.

Ben Reddock, Ant Broadhurst, Scott Rankin, Brandon Broadhurst, Conor Marsh and Wayne Garratt were the scorers with Steven Pratt scoring for Market Tavern.

Haslington FC (Gareth Blackshaw, Dom Latham and Kane Fletcher) beat Audlem 3-0.

In the remaining Division One Cup tie, Barrel & Tap won 5-3 after extra time at White Eagles.

White Eagles led 3-2 but Barrel & Tap equalised with the last kick of the 90 minutes.

Scorers for White Eagles were Konrad Lewandowski (2) and Lukasz Pasiuk.

Scorers for Barrel & Tap were Tom Darby (2), Louis Everall, Mike Smith and Stu Dow.
