Noise - comedy night nantwich, Very Best in Stand Up

‘The Very Best In Stand Up’ returns to Nantwich Civic Hall with a bill that will appeal to all comedy fans.

First act of the night on March 3 is Geoff Norcott.

Geoff is one of the most in-demand live comics and TV writers around.

He has credits on many top comedy shows, including ‘8 out of 10 Cats’, ‘Live at the Apollo’, ‘C4’s Alternative Election’, ‘The Sarah Millican Television Programme’, ‘The British Comedy Awards’ and others.

Geoff headlines at the biggest clubs in the country, has toured with Kevin Bridges and earned an operational services medal for his work gigging on the frontline in Afghanistan.

Next act is rising star Pierre Novellie.

Over the past few years, South African born Novellie has gone from strength to strength on the UK comedy circuit.

A finalist in the 2012 Chortle Student Comedy Award, he went on to win the prestigious ‘Amused Moose Laugh-Off’ at the Edinburgh Festival in 2013.

Last year saw him nominated for ‘Best Club Comedian’ at the Chortle Awards.

Pierre is making his Nantwich debut.

The final act offers something different.

The Noise Next Door (pictured) are the UK’s premier improv comedy troupe and have taken the comedy world by storm.

Eight time sell-out veterans of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and one of the country’s most sought after comedy club headliners, The Noise Next Door leave audiences everywhere in awe of their lightning-quick wit and totally original comedic talents.

They have been performing their own distinctive brand of off-the-cuff comedy together since they met at university.

Taking audience suggestions, the cheeky quartet transform them into scenes and songs in the blink of an eye.

The Noise Next Door have appeared on BBC One, BBC Three, ITV1, BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 4, were nominated for a Chortle Award in 2014, and have performed alongside Michael McIntyre, Al Murray, and Harry Hill.

Compere for the evening is Toby Hadoke.

An intelligent and thoughtful comedic wordsmith, Hadoke has been at the top of his game for over ten years, his experience and standing are unrivalled.

Hadoke is one of the most respected MCs and headline acts on the UK circuit.

The show takes place on Friday March 3 and tickets are on sale now priced at £10.

Table reservations are also available for the show to groups of six or more on a first come, first basis.

Doors open at 7.15pm and the show starts at 8.15pm.
