Crewe Engineering & Design UTC is to open a new building ready for an intake of students in September.

The expansion will offer a new modern learning environment designed to motivate and inspire students at the new centre.

The current Francis Webb building will become a hub for engineering and Sixth Form, while all other subjects will move to the new building.

Crewe E&D UTC offers GCSEs and A Levels in a range of subject areas including Business and Design, but also options in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM).

Students are monitored and set accordingly in their subjects enabling them to get the best out of their education.

Principal David Terry said: “I am very excited for the second phase of Crewe Engineering and Design UTC to be completed.

“All students who enrol for September can look forward to learning in two amazing facilities which offer unique opportunities for young professionals.

“Here at Crewe Engineering & Design UTC, we look not only at the future of our students, but also the future of our country and economy.

“Our school is a creative and inspiring environment that will encourage and push students to explore their full capabilities to enter into fulfilling careers.”

Students have a chance to be mentored by local businesses on projects which have been designed by the experts.
