Breakfast giant Mornflake teamed up with farm owners in welcoming Danish teachers to a healthy eating event near Nantwich.

The visitors were in Cheshire as part of the Food For Life initiative.

Cheshire Wildlife Trust fears the five-mile section of HS2 will destroy vital areas of natural habitat.

They believe the high speed link just south of Crewe will destroy 69 ponds, 14 miles of hedgerows, and 27 acres of native woodland, including ancient woods.

Cheshire businessman raises Prostate Cancer funds on London-Amsterdam bike ride

South Cheshire businessman Mike Walsh cycled from London to Amsterdam for a second time, all in aid of Prostate Cancer UK.

Mike, sales director of Eze Talk in Crewe, joined hundreds of other riders for the 145-mile bike ride, which they completed in just two days.

Wistaston man jailed for importing child sex doll in first such UK case

A Wistaston man who attempted to import a child-like sex doll into Cheshire has been jailed in what is thought to be the first case of its kind in the UK.

Andrew Dobson, 49, of Merrivale Road, was jailed after pleading guilty at Chester Crown Court to one count of importing an indecent object, two counts of making indecent images of children and one count of possessing indecent images of children.

David Newall, 36, from Bradford, and Rhys Barker, 18, from Castleford, were working at a building site in Dunwoody Way on Wednesday (June 21) when their crane collapsed.
