Nantwich Town FC - new green home (modeled by Theo Stair) and yellow-black away (Harry Clayton) kits

Nantwich Town boss Dave Cooke is putting his new-look squad through its paces.

Players donned the club’s new home and away strips in a pre-season practice match at the Weaver Stadium.

Both teams – one in home kit of green, the other in yellow – held nothing back in front of a crowd of around 70 supporters.

It was the first match in the new Macron manufactured/County Insurance sponsored home and away kits.

Those in green came out on top, winning 5-1.

The team is back in pre-season friendly action tomorrow night (July 11), away at nearby Eccleshall, kick off 7.45pm.

Meanwhile, local cup draws have been made and Nantwich Town will face Rushall Olympic in the FA Trophy 1st Qualifying Round on Saturday October 28.

In the FA Youth Cup Preliminary Round, the Dabbers will travel to face Radcliffe Borough, week commencing Monday September 4. The winners will play Southport at home in the First Qualifying Round, week commencing Monday September 18.
