The team at Crystal Legal Services look forward to welcoming new recruits to their clans - 3

South Cheshire firm Crystal Legal Services is recruiting 24 new employees after tripling its customer base in six months.

The new posts range from sales agents and sales team leaders, case handlers, customer service agents and customer service team leaders, to quality call auditors and operational team leaders.

The Crewe-based company deals in financial mis-selling claims management.

Chief Executive Tony Shields said: “We fight the fight for the little guy and take on banks where some customers may not.

“And we do that with the highest standards, to drive out the negative perceptions of the claims market.

“Unfortunately, the businesses that behave badly have given the whole industry a bad name.

“We’re determined to change this by operating to the highest ethical and professional standards.”

The firm is a member of the Professional Claims Management Association (PFCA), requiring it to adhere to the highest code of conduct in the industry.

Since 2009, Crystal Legal Services has grown from a team of three to a business employing around 100 people.

Mr Shields added: “We don’t just give people a ‘job’, we offer them an opportunity to develop their skills and to build a career.

“We’re big believers in recognising and rewarding our staff for their achievements.

“Each team has a budget for rewards and they can use that for everything from wine, chocolate and vouchers to certificates or trophies for outstanding staff performance.”

Last year, the team raised £15,000 for local charities including The Wingate Centre in Wrenbury, St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice and Douglas Macmillan in North Staffordshire.

This year, four charities will be supported for three months of the year, raising at least £2,000 for each charity.

Fundraising activities range from sponsored sky dives, bike-a-thons and a 34-mile walk, to pie-face tossing, slapping the CEO with a fish and ‘my child dressed me for work’ day.

“We’ve developed a real sense of community at Crystal Legal,” added Mr Shields.

“Our team members come together to celebrate achieving milestones, smashing targets and reaching career goals.

“We want all of our staff to have genuine job satisfaction.”
