Hundreds of Nantwich homes have had water supplies disrupted as engineers battle to repair a leak.
United Utilities says customers in CW5 have been hit by the leak outside Howbeck Farm, on London Road.

Big-hearted students and staff from Reaseheath College have raised more than £13,600 for North West Cancer Research.
The amount was handed over by the college’s Student Association at the student summer ball held on their Nantwich campus.
Malbank students take Gruffalo performance to Nantwich primary schools
Sixth form students in Nantwich have been getting in role to support local primary schools by staging their adaptation of Julia Donaldson’s “The Gruffalo”.
This version, which was performed by Malbank students at Highfields Academy in Nantwich, focuses on storytelling as students imaginatively use sheets to create the Gruffalo and perform the tale with a twist.
Nantwich Police Youth Fishing Contest set for August
Planning is in full swing for this year’s Nantwich Police Youth Fishing Competition.
The popular event returns on Tuesday August 15 and young people aged 10 to 16 from across the area are being encouraged to sign up.

960 Crewe and Nantwich women raise £175,000 in St Luke’s Midnight Walk
Hundreds of Crewe and Nantwich women helped raise a staggering £175,000 when they took part in St Luke’s Midnight Walk.
Around 960 women lit up the streets between Nantwich and Crewe as the Walk was held for the 13th time.
RSPCA appeal as hundreds of baby birds flock to Nantwich wildlife centre
Staff at Nantwich’s RSPCA wildlife centre are appealing for donations of food after being inundated with baby birds.
Stapeley Grange, on London Road, currently has hundreds of baby birds and many require a diet of ‘meaty loaf’ dog food to help them grow.
