Nantwich teenager interviewed in connection with Beam Street gang assault

A 16-year-old from Nantwich has been interviewed under caution in connection with the Beam Street gang assault on a 23-year-old man.

Cheshire Police has confirmed today that the 16-year-old voluntarily attended a local police station.

Muller legal challenge of Cheshire East Local Plan thrown out by High Court

A developer bidding to build more than 1,000 homes in Nantwich, has had its legal challenge of Cheshire East Council’s Local Plan thrown out by High Court judges.

Muller Strategic Projects, who want to build the ‘Nantwich South’ village in Stapeley, had argued the authority’s Local Plan was void because irregularities over air quality data.

Cllr Moran, who represents Nantwich North and West and is also a town councillor, has chosen ovarian cancer and protate cancer charities to benefit from the dance.

Graham Witter has handed over a cheque for £25,870 to Donna Louise Hospice raised from his Weston Christmas Light Display.

It’s another record amount raised by Graham from the festive display at Carters Green Farm which attracted more than 15,000 visitors in December.
