The founder and chair of Nantwich Running Club is to step away from his role, he has announced.

Mike Stevens, from Willaston, set up the club in 2021 and has been chairman and head coach since then.

It was the team’s first home game of 2024, and goals from Hattie Bourne, Abbie Heywood and Poppy Smith secured a comfortable victory.
