Nantwich Players bring their season to a close with a wonderfully funny presentation of ‘The Murder Room’.
Written by Jack Sharkey, this spoof murder mystery is set in Cheshire and had me laughing out loud throughout the show.
Nantwich is gearing up for another big day of family entertainment as SkoolzFest and Nantwich Fete arrive in town.
Talented children from across the town will be performing the Big Sing as part of SkoolzFest tomorrow (July 4).

A rare collection of Chinese snuff bottles could fetch more than £25,000 at a Nantwich auction.
The collection, which dates back almost 80 years, was bought by author Marjorie Hessell Tiltman during a visit to Tientsin in 1937.

The band hosted the “Midsummer Music Concert” in front of Nantwich’s new Mayor and deputy Mayor, Cllrs Andrew Martin and Norma Simpson.
Well-known gorilla conservationist Ian Redmond OBE will be in Nantwich next week to give a talk at Reaseheath.
Ian is guest of the Reaseheath Conservation Society which is staging the event to help raise funds for Gorilla Conservation.

Run or Dye, the world’s most colourful 5km, will be returning to Cheshire on Saturday June 27.
The colour-filled run will take place in the grounds of Cholmondeley Castle, near Nantwich.
Cheshire resident Karl Gaskin has won the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power (CPOP) photography competition for 2015.
The winning shot of the BAC Mono was taken by Karl at CPOP 2014 during his first visit to the event.
