Andrew Newton is stepping down as captain of Nantwich CC 1sts after three successive Cheshire County Premier League titles. Newton plans to carry on playing but is restricting the amount of cricket he plays due to business commitments.

Nantwich CC looked back to their best after notching a convincing victory at home to Chester Boughton Hall. The Whitehouse Lane 1sts skittled Chester out for just 128, recording a 75-run victory and 25 points into the bargain.
