The recent hot spell of weather has been a welcome reminder of some excellent news – the summer schedule of music festivals is about to get underway!
The next few months are packed with events taking place across the United Kingdom and you’ll need a healthy bank balance to attend more than a couple.
Crewe and Nantwich RUFC are to host a live music event on Saturday June 17.
The “Party on the Pitches”, which marks the club’s centenary year, will feature five live bands including ones that played at the Nantwich Jazz and Blues festival.
Brian Poole & The Tremeloes are one of the longest surviving rock and roll bands still touring from the UK.
And as they gear up to play at Crewe Lyceum Theatre on Tuesday May 30, Nantwichnews writer Claire Faulkner caught up with them.
Record crowds are expected to flock to the Nantwich Jazz, Blues and Music Festival which marks its 21st anniversary this Easter.
