This is how #CreweFirst would revive Crewe Town Centre.
Labour-run Cheshire East needs to re-think plans for Crewe Town Centre…and urgently… before the entire Town Centre collapses like a house of cards.

Cheshire East Council has no plans to introduce parking charges on the council-owned staff car park in Sandbach – meaning its workers will continue to park free if others are charged.
The cash-strapped council has consulted with residents on plans to introduce charges in “free-parking” towns like Sandbach and to revise charges – mainly upwards – in those which already pay such as Nantwich.
A Nantwich Town councillor is bidding to have CCTV coverage of Nantwich Lake after a rise in anti-social behaviour.
Cllr John Priest says a number of incidents have occurred around the lake car park off Shrewbridge Road over the summer.
Police have warned vehicle owners after a lorry stolen from a property in Aston was found abandoned on a Nantwich car park.
The white Isuzu lorry was stolen while completing a morning delivery at an address in Aston on Tuesday (August 29).

Plans to build a state-of-the art youth facility on a Crewe car park have been recommended for approval.
The two-storey building will house a sports hall, illuminated roof-top sports pitch (MUGA), changing and showering facilities, a café/coffee shop and kitchen and a range of meeting rooms and activity areas.

Plans have been submitted to extend the existing urology ward at Leighton Hospital in Crewe.

Building work will begin in January on Crewe’s new bus station and multi-storey car park and the scheme should be completed by August 2023 now planning permission has been granted.
That was the claim of the agent representing the developer at Wednesday’s meeting of Cheshire East’s strategic planning board.
