The man who has spearheaded the Weston Christmas Lights fundraiser every year in memory of his sister, has ended the display.
Graham Witter, who was awarded the British Empire Medal for his efforts, has announced he will not run the display this or in future years.

Graham once again transformed his family home in Weston near Crewe into a magical light spectacular in December.

A team of accountants from Nantwich are counting the pennies after running to raise £2,000 for Donna Louise Children’s Hospice.
The runners from Afford Bond took part in the event in conjunction with the switch on of the Weston Christmas Light display at Carters Green Farm, Weston.
The Weston Christmas Light Display has been unveiled as more local firms throw their support behind the project.
The dazzling festive illuminations, built by Graham Witter in memory of his sister, were lit up last night at Carters Green Farm on Jack Lane in aid of Donna Louise Children’s Hospice.
Children are being invited to design decals for a car donated by a local dealer to help promote the Weston Christmas Light Display.
The winning design will be used on the car, and the winners will enjoy a VIP trip to Crewe Lyceum to watch Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and a trip to the Weston Christmas Lights switch on.
The Rotary Club of Nantwich has donated another £1,200 to local good causes, bringing the total so far this year to nearly £3,000.
A cheque for £700 was donated by The Rotary Club of Nantwich President Rod Stokes to Donna Louise Children’s Hospice Relationship Manager Lisa Courtney.

Santa has helped raise hundreds of pounds on his Nantwich float – thanks to big-hearted members of The Rotary Club of Nantwich.
The rotary’s traditional evening Santa’s Float visited more than 3,000 houses between December 7 and 18.
The popular Teddy Bears Picnic is to be held at Cholmondeley Castle near Nantwich again this summer. The day, organised by Nantwich-based Ted-Events, will help to raise funds for the Donna Louise Children’s Hospice.
