Nantwich Paralympic hero Andy Small was given a VIP welcome by Mornflake in Crewe where he visited the firm’s new shop and received a surprise presentation.
The wheelchair racer, who scooped gold in Tokyo this summer, was presented with a hamper of his favourite Mornflake oats, a branded sweatshirt and donation to his racing kit as he trains for the World Para Athletics Championships in Japan next summer.
Bunbury Paralympian Stuart Wood has scooped a bronze medal in the thrilling para canoe VL3 200m Vaa final in Tokyo.
It was the 26-year-old’s debut in the Paralympics and the bronze follows a medal-winning performance in the para canoe World Championships in 2019.

Leighton Hospital’s “One in Eleven Appeal” has received another cash boost thanks to staff at Sainsbury’s Nantwich. Employees won a sales competition organised by Red Bull and donated the winnings of £250 to the store’s Charity of the Year.
