Three members of staff at Richmond Village Nantwich have been recognised for achieving a total of 60 years’ service.

Margaret Williams and Rebecca Reade, part of the housekeeping team, and hospitality manager Debbie Mercandelli have each been awarded 20-year service certificates, flowers and champagne.

Crewe to Nantwich bus service boosted by council funds

A bus service which operates between Nantwich and Crewe will now run six days a week throughout the year, after Cheshire East Council provided more funding.

The 44 service, which links the two towns, had been reduced to a “term time” only Monday to Friday timetable by operator GHA Coaches.
