A51 Bypass crash

A man has died after a car crashed into a tree in Nantwich.

Cheshire Police say the victim’s Kia car lost control and left Wrenbury Road before hitting the tree.

The 36-year-old man, who has not been named, was taken to Leighton Hospital at around 10.30pm last night (June 15) but died later of his injuries.

A female passenger suffered serious injuries and her condition is described as stable.

Police are appealing for witnesses, and urging people to contact 101 quoting incident 1030 of the 15th June.

  3. Surely when the police say ‘has not been named yet’ there’s a reason for that.
    Maybe not all of his own family have been told.

      Yes that’s true but maybe some people have sad lives and it makes them feel important telling everybody they no the people involved , sad !
