Nantwich Town and Crewe Alex have postponed their home football games scheduled to take place tomorrow (January 19).
Heavy snow forced both clubs into making early decisions with no sign of a let up in snow and freezing temperatures forecast overnight.
Nantwich were due to host Chorley FC in the Evo-Stik Premier League.
But a pitch inspection at the Weaver Stadium earlier today confirmed the obvious that it would be called off.
No date has been agreed yet on re-scheduling the match.
In League One, Crewe were due to entertain promotion chasing MK Dons at the Alexandra Stadium.
But similar inspections took place this morning and it was called off. So far, six other League One games have been postponed with more set to follow.
