These stunning pictures by a Nantwich photographer are part of a new exhibition opening at nearby Tarporley Gallery.

Jan Wilson has six pieces on show as part of the display which features other photographers and students from Tarporley High School.

Jan, who is also secretary of the Nantwich Angling Society, has images featuring the Battle of Nantwich Holly Holy Day as well as rural, farming shots.

Mayor of Nantwich Cllr Graham Fenton is to officially unveil the exhibition tonight (March 21) and it is open to the public between March 22 and April 7.

“It is my first exhibition. I did win the Harthill Trust Photography competition “Places” category last year with a photo of the Sandstone trail,” said Jan.

“I am selling my work in the exhibition but hoping to raise some money for the Cheshire Search and Rescue who are also going this evening. They do a brilliant job and needs funds as they are self funding to operate.”

You can find out more about Jan’s work at her website.

She can also be emailed on [email protected].

The gallery can be found on High Street.
