A hospice is on the hunt for helpers to staff a “Frock Stop” bus in Nantwich.
St Luke’s (Cheshire) Hospice wants volunteers to help run the boutique housed in the hospice’s vintage Routemaster red double-decker bus.
The Frock Stop is on the road visiting Nantwich market on Thursdays from 9am to 4pm, and the Tarporley Community Centre on Tuesdays,as well as other locations each week throughout the summer month’s until autumn.
The hospice is appealing to any stay-at-home parents who have a few hours to spare between the school run, work part time, or are retired.
Luke, the St Luke’s (Cheshire) Hospice’s double-decker bus. has been transformed into a high-end ladies shop with clothing, jewellery, and accessories on sale.
Steven Holmes, retail & hospice operations manager for St Luke’s (Cheshire) Hospice, said: “The Frock Stop is in need of volunteers to help run the shop, so if you have just a few hours to spare once a week then we would love to hear from you.
“The Frock Stop is a unique way to offer a wonderful range of clothing and accessories while raising much-needed funds for St Luke’s (Cheshire) Hospice.”
The team of volunteers will also be accepting donations from the local community.
The Frock Stop raises money for St Luke’s and supports its work in caring for people from Mid and South Cheshire suffering from cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
