An Asher Moat hat-trick and penalty shoot-out helped Willaston WS to victory in Crewe FA Sunday Cup over Alsager Cricket Club.

The teams had finished all square at 3-3 at full-time before penalties decided it.

In the Crewe FA Sunday Vase, Jordan Smith scored both goals as Wistaston Ath returned to winning ways beating Santa Maria 2-0.

Rising Sun overcame Cricketers Arms in an 11-goal thriller winning 7-4, with Gary Pownall netting four times with other goals from Ryan Hughes (2) and Steve Pattinson.

John Fisher (2), Gary Knowlson and Gary Cardno scored for the Cricketers.

Salvador beat Faddiley 4-2 with Derrin Oosterhuis scoring twice and Keiron Banks and Tom edge completing the scoring. Ash Lawton and Joey Hylton netted for Faddiley.

In the Premier Division, Sydney Arms closed the gap on leaders FC Semtex with a 2-0 win at Ocean, Vinny Pownall and Gaz Tomkinson with the goals.

Railway Hotel got back to winning ways with a close 2-1 win over Square One with a late winner from J J Bailey.

Square One had taken the lead after only three mins with a goal from Entwistle, Jez Tagg equalised just before half time.

Talbot climbed up the table with a 5-2 win at NHB with a hat-trick from Gaz Gordon and other goals from Mitch Jones and Scott Johnson. Dan Ball and Scott Watson scored for NHB.

AFC Leopard and Crewe Ath drew 2-2 Mike Blundell scoring both goals for Leopard and Josh Clarke got both goals for Crewe Ath.

In Division One, leaders Leighton won 2-0 at Bank Corner with goals from Danny Rogerson and Jonathan Hawkins.

Nantwich YF found their scoring boots winning 9-3 at Boot & Shoe Villa with hat-tricks from Richard Ford and Chris Cliffe. Adam Vernon, Andy Ward and Simon Roberts completed the scoring. Kane Fletcher (2) and Kev Beresford netted for the Boot.

Haslington had an excellent 3-0 win over Sandbach Town with goals from Dale Campbell, Dan Taylor and Jordan Prince.

Crewe FC also had a good win beating Rookery Tavern 3-1 with 2 goals from Dan Cartwight and a further goal from Tom Darby. Stephen Weekes scored a consolation for Rookery.
